About Phithak
A Practice Built Around the People We Serve
Phithak was formed to offer legal support for pension matters without the pressure, jargon, or uncertainty that legal processes can sometimes bring.

How Phithak Came to Be
Phithak grew out of a recognition that many people in Thailand — particularly those approaching or already in retirement — had genuine concerns about their pension entitlements but struggled to find legal support that felt accessible. The processes were daunting, the language was dense, and the options were not always explained with patience.
We set up with a different idea in mind. Rather than treating pension legal matters as a mechanical process, we wanted to build a practice that genuinely listened — where clients would leave a first meeting feeling more settled, not more confused.
Based in Watthana, Bangkok, we now work with individuals and families across Thailand on a range of pension protection matters, from initial consultations to sustained case management.
Our Mission
What We Are Here to Do
Our mission is to make pension protection legal services feel manageable — to be the calm presence when things feel uncertain, and to carry the complexity of legal proceedings so that our clients and their families do not have to.
Protection
We look after our clients' legal interests with care, applying the right processes to protect what they are entitled to.
Clarity
We explain legal matters in ordinary language, so our clients always understand what is happening and why.
Respect
We treat every person who comes to us as an individual, with patience, dignity, and genuine concern for their situation.

How We Work
Our Professional Standards
The principles that guide every piece of work we do for every client.
Thai Bar Council Registration
All practising members of our team hold current registration with the Lawyers Council of Thailand and operate within the profession's code of conduct.
Confidentiality Protocol
Client information is stored securely and shared only where legally necessary. We follow strict data handling procedures in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act.
Transparent Billing
Fees are explained before any work begins. If costs are likely to change during a longer matter, we discuss this openly in advance — no unexpected additions.
Regular Case Updates
Clients are kept informed at each stage of their matter. We provide written summaries after key steps and respond to queries within one working day as a standard practice.
Ongoing Legal Review
We keep current with changes to pension legislation and related employment law in Thailand, so our approach reflects up-to-date legal practice at all times.
Client-First Approach
Every decision about how to handle a matter is made in the interest of the client. We do not push services that are not needed and we will always tell you if we think a different path makes more sense.
Our Expertise
Pension Legal Services in Thailand — What We Know and How We Help
Pension protection matters in Thailand involve a range of legal frameworks, including the Labour Protection Act, Social Security regulations, and provisions specific to government and private sector pension schemes. When something appears to have gone wrong — whether that is a shortfall in pension payments, a dispute about entitlements, or a failure to process a claim — having a legal professional who understands the relevant legislation makes a considerable difference.
Phithak's team has worked on pension-related matters across several categories: cases involving individuals who believe their private pension rights have not been honoured by a former employer, individuals seeking to understand their Social Security Fund entitlements following retirement or health events, and families acting on behalf of elderly relatives who are experiencing difficulties navigating pension administration processes.
Our Bangkok office on Asok Montri Road is accessible by BTS Skytrain and serves clients from across the city and surrounding provinces. We also work with clients remotely where the nature of the matter allows, so distance from Bangkok need not be a barrier to getting the support you need.
We believe legal support should be proportionate — that is, matched to what the situation actually requires. Not every pension concern needs full legal proceedings. For some people, a single consultation provides enough clarity to move forward with confidence. For others, a well-drafted letter achieves the outcome they need. And for some, sustained representation is the right path. We aim to help each person find the appropriate level of support for their specific situation, without overstating what legal action can or cannot do.
